           GREEN GRAM DHAL SUNDAL 

Green gram dhal is one of the protein rich sprout. Rich in potassium, magnesium and fiber, which may reduce blood pressure. Green gram dhal is made as sundal on the ocassion of this navarathri season. 

Lets get started 


INGREDIENTS 
Green gram dhal - 1 cup 
Green chillies (finely chopped) - 2 
Curry leaves - 1 strand 
Ginger (finely chopped) - 1 tsp
Mustard - 1 tsp 
Oil - 1 tsp 
Lemon juice - 1 tsp 
Salt - to taste 

PROCEDURE 
- Wash the green gram dhal nicely
- Add the green gram dhal in a cooker add water and salt and cook for 4 to 5 whistles 
- Drain the water completely 
- In a kadai add in oil 
- Add in mustard seeds and allow to splutter 
- Once spluttered add in curry leaves, green chillies, ginger and saute for 10 to 15 seconds 
- Add in boiled green gram dhal and salt 
- Mix everything evenly 
- Add in lemon juice and mix 
- Serve hot

Take the green gram dhal in a cooker 







Add in water 






Add in salt 







Cook for 4 to 5 whistles 







In a kadai add in oil 







Add in mustard seeds and allow to splutter 






Add in curry leaves 







Add in green chillies 







Add in chopped ginger and saute for 10 seconds 






Add in boiled green gram dhal and salt mix well 






Add in lemon juice and mix evenly 






Serve hot
