Italian cheese frittata is an italian dish which is very famous in Italy. I have tried this to make my kids eat some veggies. Cheese also very good for kids so i tried this and also a hit receipe.
INGREDIENTS
Egg - 4
Carrots - 1 (medium size)
Potato - 1(medium size)
Capsicum - 1 (small)
Mushrooms - 10 pieces
Salt - to taste
Pepper - 1 tsp
Milk - 1 tbsp
Butter - 1 tbsp
Cheese - 1/2 cup
PROCEDURE
- Break open the eggs in a bowl and add salt, pepper and milk beat nicely
- Cut down the veggies and keep aside
- In a kadai add in butter and let it melt
- Once melted add in veggies one by one and saute well till it cookes soft.
- Add in salt and pepper for the veggies
- Once cooked well spread the veggies evenly in the kadai
- Add in the beaten eggs and simmer the flame
- Now add in the grated cheese and cover with the lid
- Cook till the eggs get cooked and cheese also melts well.
- Remove it to a tray and cut like pizza using pizza cutter and serve it hot.
TIPS
- Add veggies one by one.
- Once you add the mushrooms cook it in a high flame otherwise it will become very soggy
- Add salt very little as cheese also contains salt and also we have added salt for eggs seperately
- You can add more veggies or less veggies according to your choice. You can add panner, broccoli,green peas, etc..,

Cut the veggies and keep ready
In a kadai add in butter and let melt

Add in potatoes
Add in capsicum
Add in mushrooms and saute well
Add in salt and pepper and saute till it gets cooked well
Spread the veggies evenly
Add in beaten eggs
Spread evenly and add cheese on the top
Cover with lid and cook in a low flame
Once cooked remove in a plate and cut like pizza with a pizza cutter
and serve hot.
